Designer's Table Masterclass: Sketching as a Communication Tool for Interior Designers - Level 2

  • Little Greene Paint Company 310 King's Road London United Kingdom (map)

Are you new to the world of Interior Design? Are you studying Interior Design? Or perhaps considering a career change?

Join our Designer's Table at the Little Greene Chelsea showroom* as we explore sketching as a powerful communication tool within your interior design projects.

Please note, this is a Level 2 workshop, suitable for those who have attended Level 1 (this can be completed by booking here), or who have experience with the basics of technical drawing of plans and elevations.

Tickets £45 - book here.

In this workshop Audrey will:

  • talk you through you to her method for creating hand drawn perspective sketches from your floorplan & elevation drawings

  • show you how to apply this technique to produce a sketch of an area of a room within your project

  • show you how to produce sketches of furniture items to help with design decisions and to obtain initial costings for manufacture

  • discuss the advantages of learning to sketch in 3D as a means to develop and think through your ideas and to communicate effectively with your clients and contractors

  • help you find your drawing style and develop more confidence and skill in this area

  • chat about her interior design process and answer any questions you have

Bring along a project you are working on and you can use this as the basis for your sketches. Dimensions of the space would be helpful.

Refreshments are included in the ticket price. All drawing materials are supplied for use during the workshop. You can select a free Little Greene Sample Pot of your choice to take home, along with the sketches you have created.

Numbers for this Masterclass are limited to 8 people.

* Little Greene have a fantastic events space on the lower ground floor of their Chelsea showroom, which is where this workshop will take place.
